We do not make hardware recommendations, however here are some general guidelines:

-The more processors you have available, the faster the rendering speed will be. So two, four or more CPUs will help more than anything. Design 3D CX 7 supports up to 24 "tasks;" a 12-core machine that is capable of hyperthreading equals 24 tasks.

-Strata is a 32-bit application and can make use of 4 GB of RAM; a system with at least 4 GB of RAM is recommended.

-Remember, it's important to model efficiently and use appropriate render settings.

Mac OS X

• Intel processor(s).

• Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later.

• Memory: 2 GB of RAM (more highly recommended).

• Hard drive: 1.7 GB of free disk space for full installation.
