There is no technical reason you can't capture the human form or a human head using Foto 3D. However the practical problem is getting the subject to hold still enough to get good photographs. Movement will confuse the software, and result in bad geometry.
Also, humans have lots of concave areas like eye sockets and ears that are difficult if not impossible to capture using the silhouette method that Foto 3D uses.
It is possible to model parts of a Foto 3D object in a 3D modeling application such as Strata Design 3D CX. See section 9.8 in the Foto 3D User Guide for more information. The User Guide is located in the Help Menu.
