STRATA DESIGN 3D CX » Macintosh
1. Remove any custom Resource Libraries, files, etc. that you don't want deleted from the Strata Design 3D CX 6 application folder.
2. Delete the Strata Design 3D CX 6 folder.
3. Delete the preference file, com.strata.StrataDesign3DCX.plist from the Library > Preferences folder on the main hard drive (/Library/Preferences/com.strata.StrataDesign3DCX.plist).
4. Delete the preference file, com.strata.StrataDesign3DCX.plist, from your user account > Library > Preferences folder (/Users//Library/Preferences/com.strata.StrataDesign3DCX.plist).
These four steps remove the important components of the software from your computer.
There are also two Library > Application Support folders that may or may not contain custom saved support files. Look in the same Library folders listed above. Look for Application Support > Strata Design 3D CX 60. This Strata support folder is where custom Strata Design product settings are stored, either for computer wide or specific user account access depending on the Library folder that contains the item. If you have custom settings, previews, scripts, etc. in either of these folders, you might want to transfer them to the new computer.
You can re-install the software either from the disc image you downloaded or the DVD you received. Make sure you check the updates page at Support.Strata.com and run any needed updates.
